Volkan Yildirmaz _ Istanbul 1979
Yildirmaz finished Yeditepe University Fine Arts Faculty, Plastic Arts Department in 2003.
Same Year he received the Second Prize in the II Talens Painting Competition, Oil Painting category among the university students.
He was invited to the 6th ODTU Plastic Arts Festival as being "the youngest artist" in 2004 and
he accomplished his first solo exhibition at KIPLAS Art Gallery.
In 2007 he got his master degree from Yeditepe University Fine Arts Faculty, Plastic Arts Department.
In 2008 he attended to TERSHANE FABRIKA GUNLERI 3 "Taze Beyinlere Ihtiyacimiz Var" _ "We Need Fresh Minds" exhibiton.
The artist who is pursuing his work in his own studio in Istanbul, is describing his art as a world of fine balance between the darkness and illumination.
